    • If elected, Joe Biden would be the first Vice President in American history to be born in November.

    What about Agnew: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiro_Agnew ?

Agreed, I posted something about this already. Spiro Agnew wasn't the only one, John Nance Garner and Alben Barkley were also born in November.

First off, don't always believe things you get off the internet. Just because Wikipedia says its real does not make it real.

Secondly, Spiro Agnew resigned due to criminal charges. He did NOT serve a full term as the Vice President.

I believe John Nance Garner, and Alben Barkley aren't accepted into this category because of the wording of the factoid. You see "Cactus Jack", and Barkley aren't generally accepted by most factoid research teams because of the legislation passed by the House of Representatives in, coincidentally, November 1976. This legislation proposed that, formally at least, from now on the position of Vice President of the United States of America would be shortened to Vice President of America. Of course, this bill had tons of additions that would fund various states projects, among other things. The point of the bill wasn't the name change, it was all the things that were added on (And with no Line-Item Veto, there was trouble!) This was very controversial but was overlooked by the media mostly because "The Band" held its farewell concert in San Fransisco, and that deserved more attention than the legislation. At least that is what my initial research indicates, does anyone want to clarify more, or correct me?

Spiro Agnew may have resigned but the wording of the fact is: "if elected, Joe Biden would be the first Vice President in American history to be born in November", so Agnew's resignation is irrelevant to the way the fact is phrased though you could use the same reasoning to discount Agnew the way you did Garner and Barkley.

Then again if my understanding is correct then you're only counting the people that have served as Vice President of America since 1976, but in that case there haven't been any that were born in April, May, July, August, September, October or December either and as a result the whole November thing isn't the unlikely coincidence it was originally implied to be.

As for Wikipedia, you're right that just because it's there doesn't mean it's real but I don't see you disputing any of the data we've gotten from the site either so it seems rather pointless to mention that in this context.

I think Agnew was actually hatched, not born.
