    that peruvian kids using water to prevent smacking sound in chewing gum fact, I don't know about that one. I been to peru a few times, have many family members there and have never heard of this practice.

    Are you sure you were in Peru? Many Americans get confused about where they are when in South America. All those countries look a lot alike.

    Whether they're from Peru or Peoria, the real question remains...
    Does the chewing gum lose it's flavor on the bedpost over night? I can't sleep for pondering this.

    South America is more than one country? I thought it was just one country, like South Africa or South Central LA.

    Oh wait a minute. Maybe it was a typo. Perhaps the factoid is really about Peorians? From Peoria, Illinois? Y'know we do have a lot of typos and misspellings.

    Taed- You should watch the television show "Are you Smarter than a Sixth Grader". Not only is it a good refresher course in all the stuff you *should* (but probably don't) know, but it's also just damn fine television. At any rate, unbeknownst to most people, South America isn't a bunch of United States as is North America (i.e., America). South America is actually made up of over 100 independent countries!
