I have been coming to this site for a while now, and have always accepted the statements on your website as true. I found the new info about the outhouse accident particularly interesting, so I wanted to see if I could find any more information on it on the web. Not only is there nothing whatsoever on the entire world wide web to confirm this. I was unable to even find a town/city/spot on a map called Gambit, Alabama. Can you please give me some kind of verification the this is in fact a true bit of Gullible Info, or was I just being gullible to think anything I read on this site was fact?
Thank you,
Crystal

The township of Gambit, Alabama changed its name and purged all records of the event after it occurred. We have been asked not to reveal its location or the names of those injured, and honor the request of this quaint village.
n'er mind

The vast majority of the factoids you'll encounter on Gullible.info are incredibly obscure. Many times our fact checkers and researchers end up, due to proximity in relation to an event or through research into non-public archives of information, finding out information that cannot be verified by a simple Google.com search. In fact, there are a few Gullifact-checkers (as we like to call ourselves) who connect through multiple proxies, work under fictitious handles, use fake names, and do not tell the people they work with that they have any involvement with this project. Why? Wait until you see the results of an upcoming research project regarding currency and counterfeiting - You'll be shocked!
If the information were widely known, we'd be doing nothing more than copying someone else's work. Gullible.info is many things, but derivative is not one of those things. We spend hours (sometimes days) fact checking each and every factoid placed before our panel. It is with a clear conscious that I can tell you that, even though you cannot find the information from a web search, the event did occur and in fact, Gambit, Alabama is a real place. A very real, backwards place, with an incredibly small population and less indoor plumbing than outdoor. There are thousands of little hamlets and villages throughout the US like Gambit, Alabama, and the internet does not touch many of them. Only 3 of the residents have electricity, from diesel generators.

Crystal, I researched this fact at a recent family reunion, but changed the name of the town to protect the innocent families of the disaster. The name "Gambit" was what Pa called Leroy's attempt for cousin June.
[ED] (I hate typing brackets!), let's please only state you've researched a factoid unless you actually have. However, I don't doubt something similar is possible at <e>your</e> family reunions.
ED, I think that might have been a gambite. She was only a farmer's daughter, but she knew how to keep her calves together.

If you're gonna jump somebody's ass about claiming to have fact-checked a fact, I'm gonna jump your ass about claiming "Lead Fact-Checker" status when Legat truly holds such status.
Can I be self-appointed lord and master of all creation?
Wait, why am I asking? I have WMDs in eight galaxies.

Hmm.. the police scanner just mentioned something about an APB looking for Ford Galaxies with WMD. I guess they're taking your threats seriously.
They'll never find them.
It's a big ol' galaxy. Besides, I've hidden them behind perception filters. (

Great, now we're on some sort of government blacklist.

That sentence is a masterpiece.
The memorabilia mayweather vs pacquiao the athlete has signed also plays a valuation role. A signed game jersey, basketball, helmet, etc. has far more value than a signature on a piece of lined paper or T-shirt. Also, if the player khan vs peterson signs a sports memorabilia with his team logo on it dramatically increases the worth of the autographed sports memorabilia. The more authentic the harvard referencing paraphernalia, the more the autograph fetches.
