No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?
Indubitably. I couldn't agree more. Right on.
I'd say at least half a dozen, but that's only if you're counting breaks. Once, and then you'll have to find a new way to bring it around. There are five that I know of -- this guy told me once that it's more -- but once you have one, there's no need to keep looking. It all comes down to the best time to begin, and for me, that time is always now. Unless I'm occupied with something else, then it is later. But that later is so much later, that the difference isn't even worth mentioning. You've got to find a few, but 30 is a good place to start.
Once, when I was like, you know -- I wasn't. And then, all of a sudden, I was. But it was only with the half-30s, not the 15s. Or even the 20s. And then I waited and waited and before I knew it it happened and happened again. But for women and orangutans and sea monkeys it's impossible. Go figure. Life is so unfair.
I thought the answer is 42?

Contextually, it is, but literally, like Legatissimo said, 30 is a good place to start.
Please tell me you guys don't know what he's talking about, too.
Trance - stay with the program.
Exercise your mind as well, somewhere between 20 and twenty. You need many many many more repetitions if 30 is to be 20 when not in floor. Up is more 30 than 20 down even with men. You need sweat lots, so 40 between, maybe?
Life is 1 sweet, mr. e
Oh yeah, I totally agree.
Preach the power.
what if your 20 is a 10 and it wont go with you?
the clear answer is what you might not suspect unless there was a 20 of them. However, 30, of course, is right out, but then pull the pin on the holy hand grenade, for iffeth thou donst thou shalt incur a visit from the Spanish Inquisition. "Bowling?", he asked. And on that point there is but little argument if any except for the 800 lb gorilla.
than 5

its all so clear now! thank you FT!
UMM HOW i word this...
ok
u take 20 lbs no lifting for 30lb if guy, so divide 2 u dont sit, u get 10 but for guy it no 30, so 20 would be for guy if u werent a girl ?
OH!! I get it now!!
Well that's simple, you just multiply the meaning of life by a googol, then divide by your own body weight.
maybe you could draw a picture?
Posted By: mr. eu take 20 lbs
OK. Got that. I think. A 20 lb weight? Or are we talking British money?
no lifting
I understand what 'no lifting' means. I guess we leave the 20 quid on the floor or the ground.
for 30lb if guy,
uh oh. Huh?
so divide 2 u dont sit, u get 10 but for guy it no 30, so 20 would be for guy if u werent a girl ?
Bzzzzzzzzz

I would like to introduce you (mr. e) to one of our members called Blina. I am willing to set up a special thread for you and Blina so you can discuss regimes.
The answer to your question is a sliding scale. There is no magic factor to relate the weigh that a female should lift compared to a male. Similarly it is not just a diference (eg 10lbs less)
The nearest formula to calculate the female equivalent (F) to the weight a male lifts (M) is given by the formula:
F = 0.8M - 2 (in Imperial measurements)
The 2 is due to the extra fat that the average woman carries in her arms compared to the average man. (See Body Mass Index)

Uh... ditto

Is this accurate?
Come on guys, at least be receptive. We haven't had a new active member for a while.
I've been reading this through for a while now, and I think I just had a revelation. Is it "A male lifting 30lbs. of weight is equivalent to a female lifting 20 lbs."?
Reading this thread is like suicide for the brain.

Exactly. But the real question (I think) is whether it is a factor or a difference.
The only odd thing that struck me is why anyone would post such a question on a site which is in the wrong language and also not specialised in exercise. I am not sure who has their hand on the chain.

While I can see how one could arrive at that guess, the original post is nothing more than gibberish. The clarification is too.
OK then. What's the sound of one hand clapping? *Err!* Oximor...on?! Clapping involves the striking of two hands together. Also, homosexuals tend to have longer index fingers than heterosexuals...made ya look.

hazing is hazing...
i'm never lifting, sitting, or dividing again.

Does this count...
A half = 0.5
You have two hands
half of that is one, and since 0.5 is a half, both your hands equals one!?
I know it's not true, but it's a joke!

I don't particularly remember being hazed.

Once again I have to thank the excellent Terry Pratchett. It went something like...
Ow! - Why did you slap me across the face, master?
Now, grasshopper, you know the sound of one hand clapping. Do you have any other questions?
My dictionary does not require two hands to clap, as a clap about the head clearly proves. In terms of the index finger, let us make sure we are not confusing cause and effect.
if a man can lift 30lbs and a woman can lift 20lbs does that mean that together they can lift 50lbs or is there some sort of formula for working this out? What if the man gave the woman a lift or tried to pick her up? Maybe that's what's meant by a pick up line!

We only do it to people we want to stay.
Ouch. That hurt. Anyways, i'm leaving for three weeks tomorrow.
Bye.
In response to the Original Poster -
Only in Russia baby! Maybe in Latvia.

Then that would mean that if the woman was carrying a 10 pound baby, the man could carry them both! Boy george I think I'm finally catching on!
I think it's a BASIC code
10 for n = 20 to 50
20 lift n
30 next n
40 goto 20
50 print "WTF?"
60 rem lol
I had a compilation error at line 20. I replaced it with goto 50 and - WTF? - it worked.
Udoboy, I think you have answered the original question as succinctly as is humanly possible.
Er -- who compiles BASIC? I just interpret it.
Well, that's just your interpretation. In fact the only Basic I have on this PC is a compiler that produces MSIL.
(I am ignoring VBScript cus that backs up your position)
