my mom wouldn't tell me my IQ but she said it was very high.

Why would she keep it from you if it was very high?

Did she ever tell you Santa doesn't exist?

Why would she keep it from you if it was very high?

Because one shouldn't measure oneself by one's score on an IQ test. There are few things as irrelevant as a score on an IQ test. It's bad enough to measure oneself by a whole slew of test scores and class grades etc. Pegging more than a tiny bit of self-esteem (High or low) on an IQ test is not a good idea. In general it takes a certain maturity and a great deal of life experience to put that IQ score in its proper perspective.

    If you're over the age of 30 it's 6,000.
    If you're under the age of 29 it's 3.
    If you're 30 it's 0 (The average 30 year old is dead).

By coincidence, my IQ is 216. Not as good as Udoboy's 3987, but still respectable. I suspect Trance's figure is an exaggeration.

Although my IQ is higher than average (its 131) it hasn't done me much good for four reasons: -

    1) I'm lazy
    2) I'm forgetful
    3) I haven't got much common sense
    4) Ummm?

Your class Rankine? I already Centigrade in for you.

If the answer's the match, I'll have to hurt you as a reward for being the millionth person to ask that.

    Uhh...no...it's not...:shamed:

[meek] sorry for wasting your time [/meek]

  6.

    Two rooms.
    Room A: 3 switches
    Room B: 3 light bulbs

Your task, if you decide to take it....
You are in room A. Do what you want with the switches. You can only enter room B once. After you return to Room A you have to identify which switch controls which light.

Unscrew the light switch and follow the wires?

Turn on one switch, leave it on 10 minutes or so. Turn it off. Turn on another switch.

Cold dark bulb = controlled by third switch.
Lit bulb = controlled by switch that is currently on.
Warm dark bulb = controlled by switch that was on 10 minutes.
