roller derby has to be at least in the top 3.
Cheer is the #1 for high school & college athletics, but if you include pros, it drops off
I heard cheerleaders make below minimum wage, but they make a fortune from modeling (and maybe football players / coaches.)
There was a list in the paper last year, and I remember that "band" was #3 or #4, apparently due to all the "hijinks".
Roller Derby isn't a sport; It's an exhibition.
What is Roller Derby?
It's an activity during which up a dozen 'players' set their Derby hats on their side and place them on the sidewalk. They then use bamboo canes to roll them 100 yards. (100 meters in Europe). First contestant to reach the finish line 'wins'. It's dangerous because the 'rollers', as they are called' are allowed to whack the other rollers with the cane. It's really not a true sport because the outcome is predetermined.
If you're going to bet on this type of thing it's much better to do it on Roller Bowler. They use Bowler hats in Roller Bowler and it's a true competition -- not pre-ordained. It's a little bloodier, too, because the rollers use oak walking sticks to roll the derbies and whack their opponents.
Oh, that sounds interesting.
Here in Texas, we have Roller Fedora. Much more fun... you can shoot the competition. And only 17 fatalities last year.
Now that sounds fun!
The national sport of Mexico is Roller Sombrero.
I would have thought the team sport with the most injuries is war.
War is 3rd after hurling and ferret legging. A distant third.
What if you hurled a ferret legger into war?
Interestingly, WW I was started when Babe Ruth hurled a ferret at Prince Ferdinand's legs.
Ah crap! I knew that would come back to haunt me!

How Insulting. We Mexicans do not wear sombreros all the time. Hat Dancers are rare, also.
Next you'll be telling me Zorro and Speedy Gonzales are fictitious.
They are
Now I know this whole place is full of crap!
what about the british cheese run thing they have every year??
Yeah I was thinking about that, I've always wanted to participate in that!
same.. but you have to be 16.. only a couple months though.. muahahhaha
I always thought the sport with the most injuries was synchronized skeet shooting. It's horrible when they start firing during the maneuvers. Mass bloodshed, which is why it was only an Olympic sport for 1 year, in the 1960 Summer Olympics.
whats that??
What Athene just demonstrated is an example of the ancient sport of leg pulling.
In UFC there was a fight between one normal appearing man and another man who appeared to have one prosthetic leg. the normal man pulled off the other man's leg and beat him with it. He then proceeded to pull off the other leg and threw into the stands. But later you found out the other leg was fake too. The leg pulling reminded me of this.
(i dont watch this inhumane so called entertainment, my friend told me about it.)
The beaten man tried to sue his assailant but it was thrown out of court. The judge said the plaintiff didn't have a leg to stand on.
now thats punny
Punny, so ironic, what a word!
sucks is the word i would say for that..
