    I'm curious based on today's update, where is this interview that Waterson admits the name of Calvin's parents? Far as I always knew the man he was very private and didn't diclose any info that wasn't in the comic, as he enjoyed certain airs of mystery in his comic (like the true nature of Hobbes)

    I saw that interview online somewhere recently. Wasn't he giving it while in the Betty Ford Institute? Maybe he's trying to come clean while getting clean?

    Waterson is a genius, and a talented artist. You're right that he has been extremely reticent about offering information about the comic. I haven't read the interview, unfortunately. I bet a real transcript would sell for big bucks on e-bay.

    Yeah, that's the interview. I heard snippets from it on NPR a few weeks ago.
