8,426,973 grains of salt, no more no less.
damn.. i only have 8,426,972... can i give you that and a pear tree??
Hmmm.......
I don't accept pear trees after the Al Queda incident.
Many apologies.
how about 8,426,972 grains of salt and £400tn??
back to the topic.. what do you think will be the next mass marketed technological advancement??
I quite liked the look of the flying cars, those land-water automobiles look good too.
yeah but i doubt they are likely to be mass marketed soon
Why?
mostly because they will cost a lot, but also im guessing another type of licence would be needed for these things to fly, also there will be a lot more boarder patrols etc. and it would just be pointless, also police and other people would have to advance all of their technology to catch up, basically it would cause too much of a stress on the economy if flying cars were available (thnx trance) to all
available*
I agree there.
Which one of those gullifacts said the shift key is the most likely to jam?, because mine just did!
I believe the next mass market technological advancement will be true 3d imaging (like holographic displays)
oooh i heard somewhere that (i think it's LG) are suppose to have made a prototype for it by 2010
3D imaging has already been done, it was used for The Gorillaz doing a live show. I think it used lasers and smoke screens. I think its much more likely that virtual reality will become mass market before 3D holograms.
I'm a 3D hollographic image.
like Rimmer from Red Dwarf?
3d imaging has not "been done" - attempts thus far have been pretty lame by most folks' standards. We are on the brink of "doing it", which is why I mentioned it.
3d as in the movie Paycheck. Practical, high quality holographic imaging.
PS. I'm a 4D holographic image, Trance; just like you, 'cept I exists for longer than one instance.
