    "Children born in Oklahoma are three times as likely to get a financially secure job, and five times as likely to get a four-year college education."

    As likely as what?

    "One in eight people flying on an airplane will learn the name and occupation of someone previously unknown to them while on the flight."

    I'm curious how this question was phrased when asked in survey, becuase it seems people misunderstood the question and took 'someone' to mean another passenger. Don't your flight attendants and flight crew (Occupation!) announce their names (Name!) at the beginning of every flight? Therefore, EVERYONE learns the name and occupation of several new people on EVERY flight.

    :rasta:

    I think the second fact that you posted was put down incorrectly. What was probably ment was learn the name and occupation more in depth than just an introduction.

    Just because you hear somebody announce their name once doesn't mean you learn it. What's the name of the cashier at McDonald's? I'm sure they were wearing a nametag.....

    =====

    And the first one was "...as opposed to those who move to Oklahoma as children." That one definitely left something out.
