    Dear King of Ghana

Greenhouse gases in the air absorb radiation from the sun, and then emit it near enough randomly. On average, 50% of the heat that should escape from the atmosphere is radiated back down towards the Earth, per molecule. Hence, there is more heat.

    Your faithful servant.

I, for one, have never felt Venus. I tried to get close, but they say the last person who felt Venus broke off the arms, and now we all have to suffer.

When you got close, did large, burlesque guards escort you from the Louvre?

guards did not throw me out but they did inform me that attempting to touch the venus could result in bodily harm. they were not, however, the same guards who issued the same warning I received in the burlesque.

One question: Doesn't Ghana feel like Venus anyway?

Ghana is the closest country to the "origin" of latitude & longitude (0°, 0°), so it should be quite hot year-round.

A way to measure the average thickness of the ozone between the Sun and any point on Earth's surface is to measure the amount of UV-B that arrives at a sensor at the surface. The size of the ozone hole is another indicator.

The ozone layer protects the Earth from the ultraviolet rays sent down by the sun. If the ozone layer is depleted by human action, the effects on the planet could be catastrophic.

If the ozone layer are destroyed day by day as like the present time there will no place to live in the world. The ultraviolet ray cause many harm full disease such as cancer so we have to secure ozone layer.

I dunno, talking with my friends up here in Canuck land, global warming doesn't sound like such a bad idea. In fact, they're planning on naming the next hole in the ozone after me, due to my generous contributions of pollution and usage of CFCs-heavy aerosol cans.
